
For more than 20 years, Dr. Holder has served faithfully as Senior Pastor of the Historic Calvary Baptist Church, one of the region’s oldest and most respected congregations. His pastoral leadership has guided the church through seasons of growth, transition, and renewed purpose. Under his direction, the church has expanded its ministry reach, strengthened discipleship efforts, and deepened its commitment to community service.

Dr. Holder holds multiple national leadership roles within the National Baptist Convention, U.S.A., Inc., where he contributes to shaping the future of denominational ministry. His work includes strategic leadership & policy guidance with faith leaders nationwide. Through these roles, he focused on church vitality & leadership development. His national service reflects a commitment to addressing the moral & social challenges facing communities across country.

Elected President of the Missionary Baptist State Convention of Kansas at the age of 41, Dr. Holder became the youngest individual to hold this position. As president, he provides spiritual oversight, administrative leadership, and visionary direction to churches throughout the state. His presidency emphasizes unity among congregations, leadership training for pastors and lay leaders, and advancing the mission of the church in a changing cultural landscape.

Dr. Holder completed advanced theological studies at Andersonville Theological Seminary, further refining his pastoral and doctrinal foundation. His seminary education strengthened his preaching, leadership development, and theological clarity. This training prepared him to address spiritual and social challenges with wisdom, conviction, and compassion. The seminary experience enhanced his ability to lead effectively, teach sound doctrine, and guide congregations with confidence and biblical insight.
